This plant was installed at one of our own suppliers, who produce packaging. The factory previously had an epoxy powder coating line that ran on natural gas. At that time, natural gas cost approximately DKK 4.90 per m³ and delivered 8,600 kcal. In comparison, energy during off-peak periods cost only DKK 0.245 per kWh and delivered 860 kcal.

With our system, the unit price for heating was reduced by approximately half.

As the factory is part of our own company, we cannot provide the exact payback period. However, the situation represents a typical example for a coating line using hot air.

We have completed several similar projects, and the return on investment depends largely on which energy source is being compared, as well as how many operating hours the factory is expected to have per year.
