Functional principle of the Transen Electrode Steam Boiler

The basic structure of an electrode steam boiler consists of an outer cylinder (pressure vessel) and an inner cylinder. The outer cylinder is grounded, while the inner cylinder is insulated with special material.

Inside the inner tank, three-phase electrodes are installed. When the current passes through the electrodes, heat energy is released into the boiler water with a set conductivity, generating steam that can be controlled and utilized. The boiler’s evaporation rate is regulated by the water level in the inner boiler drum and the conductivity of the water.

High steam quality: Thanks to the large steam generation area and dedicated steam-water separation unit, steam with a dryness ratio of over 99.8% is delivered.

Energy saving: Unique technology combines electrode steam boilers with large thermal pressure accumulators that store steam off-peak and utilize it during peak periods – significantly reducing energy costs.
