Thermal Delta plant for steam supply

Thermal Delta plant – Steam supply

The Delta Thermal Steam Plant utilizes cheap off-peak electricity – typically at night – or surplus power from wind power to convert electrical energy into high-temperature thermal energy, which is safely stored in the thermal storage medium.

When steam is required, the fan is activated, causing air to flow through the heat storage medium and be heated. The hot air then passes through a heat pipe heat exchanger, where the water in the upper steam drum is heated and converted to steam. If superheated steam is required, additional heating elements can be installed on the pipeline to achieve the desired temperature.

This solution ensures stable, precise and energy-efficient steam supply for industrial processes – completely emission-free and with an efficiency of over 95%.

The system stores heat in a solid alloy that can reach up to 750°C, breaking the traditional temperature limit for heat storage – while maintaining a safe operating condition.

  • High efficiency
Specially developed insulation materials minimize heat loss and ensure an overall efficiency of over 95%.
  • Compact design
The system takes up only 10–14% of a traditional system, significantly reducing the need for floor space.
  • Low operating costs
The system uses only off-peak electricity and solar or wind energy. The operating costs for the same amount of heat are only:
    • 40–50% of a direct heating boiler
    • 50–60% of natural gas
    • 35% of diesel
  • Fully automatic control
No manual monitoring required. The system automatically heats up during off-peak periods and releases heat when needed.
  • Zero emissions
Clean resistance heating without pollution and completely free of CO₂ emissions – unaffected by the climate.
  • Absolutely safe
The system operates under normal pressure, has complete protection devices, and is both safe and reliable.

Steam generators for energy storage have a wide range of applications, including: food processing, papermaking, textile printing and dyeing, chemical industry, oil and fat industry and others.

Steam generator with energy storage

HEAT AND STEAM STORAGE EQUIPMENT

Working principle

The energy storage steam generator uses cheap electricity during off-peak hours at night and converts it into high-temperature thermal energy stored in the equipment’s thermal storage medium. When heat is needed, a fan runs, causing air to flow through the thermal storage medium and exchanging the heat in the medium with high-temperature hot air. This hot air then passes through a heat pipe heat exchanger to heat the water in the upper steam drum and generate steam for use. If superheated steam is needed, a superheater can be installed on the pipeline to reheat the generated steam through the hot air and achieve the required high-temperature steam output.

GREEN

With magnesium bricks as the main storage factor in our products, you no longer have to worry about environmentally harmful effects when heating. The conversion process in our units is based on natural materials and sustainable use, completely free of CO2 emissions - for a greener everyday life.

AFFORDABLE

At PowerNight we are built on a vision of green, efficient and stable energy at affordable prices. That is why all our products are built on the same heat storage structure, where you as a customer do not have to pay for the costs during high consumption periods. This means that you avoid the high daytime prices and can benefit from the stored heat collected at night.

SIMPLE

Our groundbreaking heating technology is based on the surplus flow from wind turbines. The heat is collected, stored and used efficiently, without complicated techniques or procedures. Our systems regulate themselves, depending on where there is the most surplus flow, so you can get the best yield at all hours of the day - without all the hassle.
